Earth fault permissible duration:
The cables are civided into two categories according to the fault duration when single phase is earthed.
The first category:the earth fault duration for each time does not exceed one minute,the accumulated time shall not exceed 125 hours each year.
The second category:The earth fault duration for each time is longer and the requirement for cable insulation property is more serious.The maximum rated temperature
The maximum operating temperature of conductor shall not exceed 90 centidegree when the cable is used for long period.
The temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250 centidegree at short circuit for 5 second.
Installation requirement
The installation of cable is not limited by the difference of elevation along the route.The ambient temperature should not be below 0centidegree during installation.The permissible bending radius for cable shall be complied with the following regulations:
For single-core: R>25(D+d)+/-5%
For multi-core: R>15(D+d)+/-5%
Where:R-----bending radius(mm) D-----overall dimeter of the cable(mm)
d-----diameter of conductor(mm)
single core cable of using in AC circuit shall be without armour or with steel wire armour and shall not be laid in magnetic ducts.
